Now open through September, experience spectacular photos of our planet at the Nature’s Best Photography exhibit at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. From more than 26,000 submitted entries, 60 stunning images were selected to showcase the extraordinary work of photographers from around the world. The photographers are of all ages and experience levels, inspiring future artists through these images.
See photographs from cliffs in Newfoundland, to a hazy morning in the South African bush, to the frozen coastline in Antarctica. You also don’t want to miss the Grand Prize image of a gorilla mother and her infant or the video of manta rays and whale sharks feeding off the coast of Mexico. You’ll also be able to hear the experiences of the nature photographers and see how they got their shots. The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and admission is free.
